March provided structural engineering assistance for the removal of the existing gate and the installation of the new Mill “A” guillotine gate at SaskPower’s Shand Power Station. This included preparing a rigging plan for the remove of the existing guillotine gate, a rigging plan for the installation of the new guillotine gate, determining the temporary structural steel that was required to remove the existing gate and installation of the new gate, and preparing structural steel drawings outlining the required modifications for the replacement and installation of the gates.
